On Friday the 18th of August, 2023, Matthew Reed from Renmark SA contested the world records set in March by Triple M Breakfast Show Adelaide’s Roo, of peeling the most yabbies in one minute and three minutes consecutively.
On air Matthew broke the one minute record by peeling one extra yabbie making it 13 yabbies peeled in one minute and smashed the three minute record peeling 39 yabbies, displaying very ‘fast fingers’.
